Why I Approve of Feeding Raw Food
Many of you ask if I approve of feeding raw food to your dogs, and the answer is a resounding yes! Dogs are descendants of wolves, and what did wolves eat? Raw food, of course. It is what nature intended for them, and I believe it is exactly what your dog should eat too.
Starting Puppies on Raw Food
I start all of my puppies on raw food from the very beginning. The recipe I use was formulated by a holistic vet, and my puppies absolutely LOVE it. They not only enjoy the taste but thrive on it. This simple change I made years ago has had a tremendous impact on the overall health of my puppies, and it completely amazed me. It made me a true believer in the power of raw food.
I had one dog, who I always thought was white, suddenly become a dazzling bright white after switching her to raw food. Her coat turned glossy, vibrant, and healthy. That change alone convinced me I was on the right path.

When it comes to raising puppies, I believe in doing everything to the best of my ability. This includes feeding them the very best food possible. What I can tell you is that I see the results every day in their glossy coats, strong immune systems, and boundless energy.
Transitioning to Packaged Food
At some point, I do transition the puppies to a high-quality packaged food. The food I choose is also formulated by a holistic vet and is the best I have ever used. Many of you often mention some good brand name holistic foods you already use or have used in the past. While I appreciate the thought, I need to tell you that most of those brands have been recalled at some point. And recalls usually happen because, tragically, some dogs have died from eating it.
The Importance of Choosing the Right Food
What bothers me most is that many of these companies seem more focused on profit than on the health and well-being of our beloved pets. It is a shame when a company does not seem to genuinely care about the animals their food affects. That is why I am so particular about the food I use and recommend.
