If you were part of my inner circle, you’d know I have a deep love affair with anything that has Pomeranian in it. My kids keep suggesting we stick to Maltipoos, but I just can’t resist Poms. They’ve got these big, bold personalities wrapped up in a tiny, fluffy package and their affection knows no bounds. To me, Poms are little bundles of joy that bring so much love and life into a home.
Now, I know what you’ve probably heard, Pomeranians are often labeled as high-strung. But here’s the thing: I’ve never seen it. Not once. And I genuinely believe it’s because I don’t vaccinate them. It’s the same story with Maltese. People say they’re supposed to be yippy, but mine? Not at all. Again, no vaccinations.
I first stumbled upon this idea when I heard holistic veterinarians claim that vaccines don’t just cause health issues, they can also make pets hyper and yippy. It piqued my curiosity because I was already raising my seven children without vaccinations. Naturally, I wondered if the same could apply to my puppies. So, I decided to take the leap, I stopped vaccinating both my puppies and adult dogs. My focus was on boosting their natural health and I was thrilled when it worked!
But the surprises didn’t stop there. Soon after, my customers started calling me, marveling that their new puppies arrived practically potty trained! This was before the days of texting or quick messages, back when you had to have long, meaningful conversations over the phone. I couldn’t get off the phone because they were so amazed at how incredibly smart their puppies were!
Turns out, those holistic vets were right. Skipping vaccinations didn’t just make them healthier; it made them smarter too. Absolutely true, and I’ve seen it time and time again.
Poms, Maltipoos, or Maltese—whichever you choose, with a natural, holistic upbringing, they’ll blow your expectations away!
